{"id":7032,"date":"2022-05-28T14:42:16","date_gmt":"2022-05-28T18:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ganaraska-hiking-trail.org\/?p=7032"},"modified":"2022-05-28T14:43:02","modified_gmt":"2022-05-28T18:43:02","slug":"attention-ganaraska-forest-closed-due-to-storm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ganaraska-hiking-trail.org\/?p=7032","title":{"rendered":"Attention &#8211; Ganaraska Forest Closed Due to Storm"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GRCA is requesting that you&nbsp;communicate the following messages out to your members and networks while stressing the seriousness of the situation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On Saturday May 21, 2022 a massive storm system caused significant damage to the Ganaraska Forest and its entire trail network (West Central and East Forests are all effected).<\/li><li><\/li><li>The current situation in the Ganaraska Forest is very serious and extremely dangerous.<\/li><li><\/li><li>The GRCA and Police are strictly enforcing the closure of the Ganaraska Forest and NO ACCESS is being granted until furture notice<\/li><li><\/li><li>The Ganaraska Forest is extremely dangerous with hazard trees and significant blockages throughout the entire trail network of the Ganaraska Forest (West, Central and East Forests).<\/li><li><\/li><li>Please respect any form of barriers and signage that is blocking access and DO NOT cross these barriers.&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;<\/li><li>All Special Events are cancelled for the foreseeable future.
