{"id":3993,"date":"2020-12-30T19:41:34","date_gmt":"2020-12-31T00:41:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ganaraska-hiking-trail.org\/?p=3993"},"modified":"2021-05-31T11:43:06","modified_gmt":"2021-05-31T15:43:06","slug":"updates-from-ganaraska-hiking-trail-association-inc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ganaraska-hiking-trail.org\/?p=3993","title":{"rendered":"Updates from Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association Inc."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Publicity Officer position has now been filled.<\/strong> We are thankful to\u00a0<strong>Alana Boulay,<\/strong> a member of the Barrie Club, who currently runs the Facebook Group as well as the Barrie Facebook Page, for stepping up and offering to take care of the Association Facebook Page as well.\u00a0<br><br>I also wanted to thank <strong>Karen Bernardo<\/strong> for all her efforts with respect to creating a\u00a0 social media presence for the Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association and its clubs. This\u00a0 has &#8211; no doubt &#8211; paid off in additional memberships and followers, which is what we were hoping to achieve.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Also, as of January 1 the role of <strong>president for the Barrie Ganaraska\u00a0Hiking Club<\/strong> will transfer to <strong>Liz Erwin<\/strong>. John Sloan&#8217;s role within the club will change to Director \/ Past President of the Barrie Ganaraska Hiking Club.
