The Executive Committee of the Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association Inc. discussed \nthe COVID-19 situation and decided \nthat in light of the changing direction of the Public Health authorities \nregarding how people should proceed in protecting the public health, and given \nthe difficulties in maintaining social distance in a large group setting (as \nevidenced on some hikes this past weekend), we very much regret to have to \nrequest that all GHTA clubs and hike leaders cancel any group hikes until \nfurther notice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ganaraska Hiking Trail \nitself, as well as some conservation areas, forests, and other outdoor spaces \nremain open to anyone who wishes to go for a walk or a hike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, enjoy the out of doors… \njust not in a group setting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
